The Ulster Championships 2023 has a new venue this year and will take place in the Playing Fields on Lough Road, behind the Antrim Forum Stadium Complex. Car parking at Antrim Stadium is extremely limited, and due to the inclement weather throughout July, the Council have indicated they will not permit cars to be driven on the grass in Castle Gardens. In light of this, all parking for this event has been moved to Junction One. Free double decker shuttle buses, complete with disabled access, will transport everyone to and from the Championships, commencing at 8.30am. The last shuttle bus back to Junction One will be at 7.00pm.
Please adhere to the signage around the Town and the advice being given by EventSec and Council Staff and give additional time to park and be transported by bus.
Free parking is also available at the Castle Mall carpark and the route will be signposted through Castle Gardens.
Overnight parking for motorhomes is available at Antrim Lough Shore Car Park or Castlewood Holiday Park, Antrim.
COACH PARKING
As we are limited to parking at the Ulster Championships tomorrow in Antrim, we have made provision for the Bands travelling by coach. If you can advise your Driver to go to Antrim Castle Gardens, Randalstown Road, A6 and all Band Members can get off the coach with their belongings and walk across the pedestrian bridge in Castle Gardens to the Playing Pitches where the competition is being held. Your coach will have to park in Junction One, which is our main parking for the event, and then at finale time, you coach can pick up Band Members in Antrim Castle Gardens, where they left off.
JUNCTION ONE SHUTTLE PICK UP
Ulster Championships Shuttle Bus Pick up Point is located at the Green Car Park area of Junction One – just behind Homebase and Lidl. Please follow the AA signs around Antrim for parking.
NO BARBEQUES PERMITTED ON THE STADIUM PLAYING FIELDS.
