Good Morning

It is the morning after that day before. I would like to in this sort resume of our activities at Omagh Rugby Club on Saturday express my thanks to all the bands and drum majors who not only performed of their best in what turned out to be a beautiful afternoon but also our thanks for the cooperation we received from you all.The entire event was a great achievement for the Joint Committee and it was a testimate to what can be achieved. With great help from the Rugby Club and Fermanagh Omagh Council after almost a year in the planning  we made it to the finish line. Well done to everyone. The news that the 2106 championships will be held at the beautiful Malahide Castle was so well received and great work from the IPBA to gain that venue. My thanks to all who played their part in a truly historic event. Congratulation to Sean Moloney on his fine rendition of the winning 70th All Ireland tune. Thanks  to Bleary  & District for  agreeing to perform the emotive tune Amazing Grace as a solemn reminder of just who we have lost since we last met at this event, comments from the audience in the seating area during that performance, truly wonderful was heard ringing out I have never seen our people showing genuine appreciation and I thank you for that.

Many thanks
