The Ulster Championships were held on Saturday at the Tyrone Farming Society Showgrounds Omagh and judging by many comments it turned out to be a rather nice venue with plenty of parking, refreshments of any kind and of course the weather treated us very well apart from a light patch near the end of the day it was both warm and fine. Our thanks go to all who attended both bands and drum majors this is your final reherasal for the Worlds next Saturday. The Chieftain was Sean Begley Chairman from the local Council he praised the efforts of the Branch in bringing the Ulster to Omagh.
President Fred Walker was in attendance and spoke to the gathering as did Councillor Chittick from Omagh Council.
A most enjoyable day out in Omagh.
