With perfect weather conditons and a very large and happy crowd the 2013 All Ireland Championships turned into a truly magnificent and special event. Being supported by the The City of Culture Company 2013 and Derry City Council.
From 11am some 61 bands played their music to the huge crowd of supporters. The event culminated with a massed band when all bands played Scotland the Brave to the delight of the audience. With some friendly banter during the day with the audience and speaking to many visitors from various parts of the world all would agree it turned out to be one of the best All Ireland Events in recent times enjoyed by all.
