Co Down Section AGM
The Co Down Section held their AGM via Zoom on Thursday 14th November 2024.
There was a good turn out of Section Bands. The Chairman, Derek Mack, welcomed everyone to the meeting. A special welcome was extended to Alistair McCleery, RSPBANI Vice Chairman who conducted the Election Of Officers.
The following were elected to office:
- President: Lorraine Ronaldson
- Chairman: Derek Mack
- Treasurer: Ivan Crothers
- Secretary: Vikki Singer
- Trophy Officer: Roy McCullough
- Section Rep To Executive: Vikki Singer
The Co Down Section would like to extend their sincere thanks to outgoing Section Rep Wilby Hanna for his many years of dedicated service in this role.
Bands in attendance congratulated the Co Down Section on the indoor competition in Dromore in April. The Co Down Section are encouraged with the success of the indoor competition in 2024 and hopefully in conjunction with the Co Antrim Section can build on this in the years to come. The Co Down section wished them all the best for plans for an indoor in Co Antrim in 2025.
