The County Antrim Section AGM took place on Tuesday 28th November 2023 in Dunsilly Hotel, Antrim. This was the first face-to-face AGM since Covid. It was good to see local bands represented and for the bands that were unable to attend, their apologies were recorded. Everyone was welcomed to the meeting by Vice Chair Alderman Beth Adger MBE. It was good to see our President Tommy Nicholl MBE present also.
The Section are pleased to announce that Alderman Beth Adger MBE was proposed for and accepted the position of Chairperson for the incoming year. She is looking forward to carrying out this role. It was noted there are active bands who are not affiliated with the Section and we wish to extend an invitation to all bands interested in coming along and supporting our work within the Association. Bands who are interested please reach out to any member of the Section.
We aim to hold our next County Antrim Section Meeting in January 2024.
