It is with great excitement that the County Antrim Section of the RSPBANI launches ticket sales for their annual championships.  This year we join forces with the World Renowned Dalriada Festival to create a spectacular event.

The Co. Antrim Pipe Band and Drum Major Championships will be held on Saturday 18th July in the magnificent grounds of Glenarm Castle.

The Co Antrim Section has worked closely with the Festival Committee to ensure significantly discounted ticket prices for Pipe Band supporters.  Bands and drum majors who have entered the contest will receive complimentary wristbands prior to the event.

Buy your tickets in advance!

In order to get the best value for money it is vital that family, friends and supporters of the Championships buy their tickets IN ADVANCE through the Co Antrim Section.  Otherwise you will have to pay the gate price on the day.  For example a 1 day adult pass bought online, prior to the event, will cost £10; Senior Citizen £7.50 and 12-15 year old £5. (On the day prices will be even higher than this!!) Buying through the County Antrim Section/RSPABNI will cost an adult £5; Senior Citizen £3.50 and 12-15 year old £2.50.  These prices have not been set by the County Antrim Section, nor have the age categories, but we have worked hard to negotiate the significant reduction for our supporters.

You may also consider buying a 2-day pass.  The Strong Man competition and many other events will be running on Sunday 19th July.  A 2 day pass, bought through the section, will cost an Adult £7.50; Senior Citizen £5 and 12-15 year old £3.50.

There is a concert being held on the Saturday night featuring the Bay City Rollers, Bagatelle and Hot House Flowers.  Tickets for this are also available from the County Antrim Section for £25 but buying through us will save you paying the online booking fee.

Please spread the word to other family and friends who you think may be interested in attending the Festival, whether they are pipe band fans or not.

Tickets will be available in the RSPBA Registration Tent at Stormont (13th June), Lurgan (20th June) and the All Ireland (4th July).
