The above championships were held in Wallace Park Lisburn today with reasonably good weather up until the start of the massd bands when heavy rain marred what was a great day for our first contest. The Mayor Margaret Tollerton was wholesome in her praise of the pipe band movement and she thanked the branch for their continued support of the pipe band music in Lisburn.
