The 2013 season restarted today with the popular North Down event. A beautiful sunny warm day was marred by a heavy shower just at the start of our March Past. Sorry to the bands who were in shirts you really got a soaking. The Mayor Councillor Andrew Muir said it had been another great day in Bangor. The North Down MP Lady Sylvia Hermon also congratulated the bands on their performances and she to said it was such a popular event in Bangor, of course she would say that as she has become one of our best supporters and she is so much in support of what we do many thanks to her.
So the build up to the worlds has begun keep it up.
