What an evening of music. Great entertainment from start to finish from two of the all-time great bands. Our thanks go to Pipe Majors Terry Lee and Richard Parkes and their bands for the effort they put in to making it a really special night. The number of joint sets were beyond everyone’s expectations. Our thanks also go to Belfast City Council for their support with the whole festival. Finally a big thank you to all the people that attended the concert, the atmosphere really was electric and the crowd played their part in a night to remember.
Congratulations to Angus McIlroy from Raffrey Pipe Band who won the special prize draw of an iPod Touch with all the Albums from SFU and FMM. As a bonus 3 albums from Bad Haggis were also included as a thank you to Eric Rigler for kindly granting permission to print the setting of The B-52 in the programme. Our thanks also to Robert MacNeil for the kind permission to reproduce the setting of Blackie MacLeod.
