A Tenor Drum Workshop will be held in the Royal Hotel, Cookstown on Saturday, 4th February from 2 pm to 6 pm and will concentrate on the following items:
- Tuning your drum for indoor solo competition.
- Construction of your drum scores for solo competition.
- Incorporating flourish with the beating already in your score.
- Working with the snare drummer to maximize the use of light and shade in the playing and any other aspects anyone wants to discuss.
Tenor Drummers are asked to please bring their drum and if possible the snare drummer who usually plays for them.
The cost will be £2.00 which includes tea or coffee.
