At a ceremony in the Belmont hotel Banbridge on Wednesday of this week Lorraine Ronaldson was formerly installed as the new President of the County Down Section.
Over 40 members welcomed the guests attending the evening they included
The Chairman of Banbridge District Council Olive Mercer, The Mayor of Craigavon Council Mark Baxter the RSPBA President George Ussher and the local branch Chairman Ray Hall. Also present were Lorraine’s family members mother Edwina Sister Fiona and husband Alan.She was piped in by Matthew Moore from Drumlough band to a round of applause.
A presentation was made to the section chairman William Connolly for his 25 years service as chairman
An apology was given for FJ Walker branch President and Eddie Mullen from Annsborough
After the formal part of the evening a hot buffet was served to all
A most enjoyable night.
