The Musical Instruments for Bands funding programme has reopened for this year. The funding managed by Arts Council for Northern Ireland is available to assist bands to purchase new instruments and provides support of up to £5,000 towards the costs. Bands who haven’t received support from the programme prior to the 2010/11 financial year are now eligible to apply to the fund. The process is a competitive one and is usually oversubscribed.

Ulster-Scots Community Network will be holding a series of information events explaining how to apply to the fund and answering questions from groups keen to make applications. Details of the Information Roadshows are below. If interested, come along to find out how to apply and have the process outlined to you.

To check eligibility you can phone USCN on (028) 9043 6710.
