DESCRIPTION:Attending the 78th All Ireland Pipe Band Championships\n\nAdmission & Parking\nEvent Admission: Free \nGeneral Parking: \n\nAvailable at Foyle College\, [67A Limavady Rd\, Londonderry BT47 6LR] and at Wilton Park\, [41B Limavady Rd\, Londonderry BT47 6LP]. There will be a small charge at Wilton Park per vehicle.\nA courtesy shuttle bus will be in operation to and from both general carpark sites to the main Ebrington entrance all day and the pickup point will be clearly marked on the main Limavady Road at each location.\nAdditional parking is available at city centre carparks.  Please adhere to the directional signage around the town and be aware of any charges for specific car parks. Derry City & Strabane – Carparks Derry City Area\n\n\nAccessible Parking: \n\nThis is now fully booked and parking passes for Zone P2 (TEO carpark on Hill Avenue\, Ebrington) have been issued via email.\n\n\n\nBand Coach Parking: \n\nBand Coach parking passes have been issued via email and are allocated to Zone P2 (TEO carpark on Hill Avenue\, Ebrington)\n\n\n\nMotorhomes: \n\nDaily Motorhomes and campervans can use General Parking at Foyle College and Wilton Park. (No overnight)\nOvernight motorhome parking is available at Foyle Railway Museum.\n(see: Foyle Valley Railway Museum Car Park | United Kingdom|searchforsites.co.uk)\n\n\n\nOfficials’ Parking: \n\nParking passes for event officials and adjudicators will be issued to email and are allocated at Zone P3 (Oakgrove Integrated Primary School\, 19 Limavady Rd\, Londonderry BT47 6JY)\n\n\n\nBand Guidance\nBand Gazebos: \n\nGazebos must only be erected within the designated band tuning/practice area. Parking for gazebo transport vehicles is pre-booked and passes have been issued by email. Allocated parking is adjacent to the tuning park at Zone P1 (St Columb’s Road carpark). Limited to 1 vehicle per band – Gate Stewards will direct you.\nYou must have valid Public Liability Insurance schedule when applying online. If you have previously provided evidence you do not need to reupload. *If event organisers request gazebos to be taken down during the event for safety reasons\, this must be complied with.\n\n\n\nPractice / Tuning: \n\nWhen your band is practicing/tuning\, you must be aware of your proximity to any band and/or drum major contest arenas and must ensure that you do not get too close as to cause interference with them.\nFinal Tuning for both band arenas will be clearly identifiable. Bands should only sound within the final tuning area to ensure there is no interference with any contest arenas for bands or Drum Majors.\nBands should follow any requests from RSPBA/RSPBANI/IPBA Officials and Event Stewards regarding this and must comply.\n\n\n\nFinale: \n\nThe finale will start at 18:00hrs and will be a massed band advancing playing “The Battle’s O’er”.\nAll bands should start preparing at 17:45hrs.\nAll bands and Drum Majors should be in place no later than 17:55hrs to ensure that the massed band finale commences promptly at 18:00hrs.\nNominated lead bands are: Bready Ulster Scots\, Letterkenny & District\, Middletown (CT) Police Benefit Association\, Riverside Alliance\, Raphoe Ulster Scots\, Thiepval Memorial\, Kildoag\, Uddingston Strathclyde\, Manorcunningham and will be informed by email in advance.\n\n\nGeneral Information\nProgrammes: \n\nWill be available to purchase from the Registration Tent at a cost of £5.00.  Cash\, card and contactless is accepted.\n\n\nFood/Drink: \n\nThere will be a selection of food and drink vendors on the day around the main arena site -please note\, some may only take cash.\nThere is also a wide selection of cafes and bars around the Ebrington site and more eateries are a short walk over the Peace Bridge to city centre.\n\n\nBarbeques: \n\nFixed and disposable barbeques are not permitted within the Ebrington site and this includes the band tuning area\n\n\nToilet Facilities: \n\nPortaloos will be available at the event and will be detailed on the map within the programme. Please show respect to users of Accessible facilities as not all disabilities are visible.\n\n\nFirst Aid: \n\nAccredited First Aid from St John Ambulance will be available at the contest area and will be detailed on the map within the programme.\n\n\nLost Persons: \n\nPlease report any lost persons immediately to any Event officials on duty or at the RSPBANI van.\n\n\nDrones: \n\nDrones are not permitted to be flown above any crowd or public event.  This restriction applies to all drones\, regardless of size and weight.  This is to ensure public safety and to minimise the risk of accidents or injuries.\n\n\nLitter: \n\nPlease dispose of all litter in the bins provided around the contest area and band practice/tuning area.  Bands are responsible for clearing any practice space they occupy at the end of the event.\n\n\nDogs: \n\nAssistance dogs are welcome at this event. DESCRIPTION:Attending Ards & North Down Championships 2025\nAdmission & Parking\nEvent Admission: Free\n\nGeneral Parking:\n\nParking is available at Regent House School campus (Circular Road\, BT23 4AQ) which is 5 minute’s walk along the canal path. Parking is also available at town centre car parks\, charges/restrictions may apply. Click here to see Council carpark information for Newtownards\n\n\nAccessible Parking:\n\nLimited car parking for Blue Badge holders is available at designated accessible car parking zone within the main venue. You must reserve a space in advance and you must have a valid blue badge for an occupant of the vehicle on the day. Motorhomes with blue badges can also book for this area.\nPlease pre-book using Parking Pass Application Form.\n\n\nBand Coach Parking:\n\nBand Coaches must only park at designated coach parking zone which is located at Regent House school campus.\nPlease pre-book using Parking Pass Application Form.\n\n\nMotorhomes:\n\nNo overnight motorhome parking is available at the venue or at Regent House school campus.
