The 66th Ulster Championships takes place at Antrim Castle Gardens. The Gardens provide an absolutely magnificent setting, recently benefitting from a £6 million restoration project.  There are a wide range of beautiful garden features within the grounds as well as the refurbished Clotworthy House, Garden Coffee Shop etc

There are two town centre car parks available with over 500 free car parking spaces, opposite the pedestrian entrance to Antrim Castle Gardens.  An overflow car park has been organised at The Junction Outlet centre holding 2000 spaces.  Double Decker buses will then transfer folk and equipment to the competition venue and will run throughout the day from 8.30am.  Once inside The Junction Outlet car park follow the white signs to ‘Coach Drop-off Point’.

Parking for all those with a disabled badge, including disabled Motorhome users is available within the grounds as well as for band coaches.

  • On behalf of the County Antrim Section we hope that everyone enjoyed the Festival & Pipe Band Championships yesterday in the lovely setting once again in Glenarm Castle . The weather started of cool and windy in the morning and got slightly better as the day progressed, but as the finale got closer the weather turned for the worst and we had to make some late changes. Unfortunately we had to cancel our new event for the senior Drum majors of Tossing the mace over the high bar ,but weather conditions hindered this great event
  • The section would like to take this opportunity and thank our sponsors for this event All Things Tartan & The Quiet Man Irish Whiskey. We would like to thank everyone who helped in any way who made these championships successful along side the Dalradia Festival .
  • The section would like to thank all bands ,drum majors,Stewart's,judges, caterers,i personally could not thank the bands and drum majors and judges enough for their support ,and a special thanks to Paula for her help ,a big thanks also to the main man on the day our compere Gary Wilson 👌👌👌👌👍👍👍👍
  • We once again wish all bands, drum majors all the best for the rest of the season and that they bring silverware back from the remaining Major Championships

Thanks

Alistair McCleery
